KUALA LUMPUR, Mar 15: Pertubuhan Aduan Rakyat (PAR) Malaysia president Datuk A. Chandrakumanan has condemned “Superman” Hew Kuan Yau over a Facebook post insulting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Manor
Hew, a former DAP leader, had uploaded the movie poster of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ with an attachment of a photograph of Najib and Rosmah Mansor.
“There is limit for tolerances, the recent posting by Hew Kuan Yau, former DAP member about PM and Datin Sri Rosmah is slanderous,” Chandrakumanan said in a statement.
“Uploading ‘Beauty and The Beast’ poster together with Dato’ Sri Najib and Datin Sri Rosmah’s image tagged with unwarranted wording is completely detrimental and act of provocation.
“This goes to show his low mentality attitude he is and the public should evaluate such characters.
“It is sad to see that this guy always gets away after making controversial posting or remarks and this is not the first time. What is the motive behind this posting ask A. Chandrakumanan.
“PAR Malaysia recon such posting could cause an uproar among the multi-racial society, which is dangerous, and it is not right to instigate them.
“If our enforcement is strong I don’t think people like Hew will make such postings and gets away free,” Chandrakumanan said.
“This is not a joke we condemn such posting very strongly and want’s Hew Kuan Yau to make a public apology.
“We strongly urge PDRM and MCMC to investigate Hew for sedition and take appropriate action for making a derogatory and disrespecful posting against the Prime Minister of the country and his wife,” he added.
