FAM Welcome AFC’s Decision To Set New Date, Venue For Match Against North Korea

KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 (Bernama) — The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) welcomed the decision by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to set a new date for the match between Malaysia and North Korea.

The 2019 Asia Cup Qualifier between Malaysia and North Korea which was scheduled in Pyongyang on March 28, has been deferred to June 8, at a neutral venue, as per Malaysia’s appeal.

FAM secretary-general Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin said the new date would give coach Datuk Ong Kim Swee additional time to prepare the team for the task…..
