KUALA LUMPUR, Mar 15: Umno Information Chief Tan Sri Annuar Musa said that he felt called out and decided to make a stand against Gelang Patah MP Lim Kit Siang.

“Actually Gelang Patah made a speech before me and he spoke about a few thing and to urge to reply at a press conference.

“The content of my speech was supposed to be about the people of my constituency but because the matter was brought up when I was there in my face, I felt called out to make a stand.

“And I felt that in the parliament with the presence of Gelang patah is a good place for me to face him, that’s why I patiently waited for 20 minutes,” said the Ketereh MP to reporters at the parliament lobby here today.

Annuar was referring to Kit Siang challange to a debate, but when Annuar ignored Kit Sing, the latter then gave Annuar 48 hours to come out with a joint-press conference where the deadline has already ended.

Annuar said that he felt that the oppositions politics is a politic of Pakatan that is pro DAP.

“I have been analyzing during a political history from then till now, where Gelang Patah is instrumental as the de facto leader of DAP.

“For me I feel the opposition has been dominated by DAP.

“I said something among others, something that has been said by Dr Mahathir, where during his time, he said that the latter was racist,” said Annuar.

Kit Siang had also khit back at Annuar, calling him a coward for having said this in the house of parliament, rather then in public where legal action might have been taken against him.
